The Maintenance Technician will be expected to carry out tasks with the highest quality and with full adherence to health and safety standards.Responsibilities/activities to be involved in:1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Responsible for handling routine inspections, repairs and maintenance tasks for CyI Campuses.2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Repairing minor mechanical and plumbing issues.3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Identifying, documenting, and reporting maintenance and repair works.4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Responsible for the set-up of office equipment, including setting up venues for events.5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Coordinating with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance when necessary and supervising their work.6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Responding to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Providing technical support with any new installations as required.8.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Participating in safety training and drills.9.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Occasional landscaping and wall/equipment painting activities10.&nbsp;&nbsp; Performing other related duties and activities assigned by the line manager(s).Required Qualifications·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; School Certificate·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Good physical condition to be able to meet the requirements of the position·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Skilled in the use of common hand-tools·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience with a variety of maintenance tasks·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong time management, organizational, problem-solving skills, with the ability to be flexible and adaptable, and to change priorities and direction as needed·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to handle multiple projects and to meet deadlines·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Eye for detail·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Valid driver’s license·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Positive attitude and good communication skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Basic Microsoft Office computer skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent command of the Greek Language·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Good command of the English Language·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 1-year relevant experience&nbsp;Preferred Qualifications·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Technical School certificate, will be considered and advantage·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent understanding and good knowledge of relevant quality and health and safety standards&nbsp;Duration of appointment:The initial period of the appointment will be for a duration of 24 months with the possibility of renewal, depending on performance and availability of funds.&nbsp;Remuneration details:Salary Band: CYI1(1-16)Position’s Starting Salary: CYI1.1 - €20173.01Benefits:Among other benefits, the Cyprus Institute offers flexible and remote work, additional paid leave for supporting staff work-life balance, provident fund membership and group medical and life insurance membership.&nbsp;ApplicationApplications can be submitted through The Cyprus Institute Exelsys Platform (<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://bit.ly/3HDLRTw">https://bit.ly/3HDLRTw</a>), by following the instructions provided.
