CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading provider of high-performance LED lighting and outdoor lighting solutions to commercial and industrial markets, we are seeking to recruit an Internal Accountant to join their newly established team based in Lakatamia, Nicosia. As an Internal Accountant, you will play a key role in the maintenance and management of the company's accounting records and financial documentation. Our client is seeking applicants who possess 2+ years of proven experience in a relevant accounting and bookkeeping role, with strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel, as well as experience working with accounting software. You will need to be fluent in both Greek and English, with a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and general accounting practices. Working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00 or 09:00 – 18:00 from Monday to Friday.&nbsp;Key Duties/Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Manage and maintain the company's accounting records and financial documentation.</li><li>Process invoices, payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.</li><li>Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings in a timely manner.</li><li>Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as required.</li><li>Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Handle any other matters directly or indirectly related to the accounting function of the company.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills/Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>An academic background in a relevant field of study is a plus, but not essential.</li><li>A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. LCCI, AAT, CAT, or equivalent) is required.</li><li>2+ years of experience in a relevant accounting and bookkeeping positions is required.</li><li>Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and general accounting practices.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines.</li><li>Good organisational and communication skills.</li><li>Fluency in Greek and English.</li></ul>&nbsp;To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV, along with any covering letter to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:jobs@careerfinders.com.cy">jobs@careerfinders.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting the reference number ERG9148.
