This role is ideal for a proactive and technically skilled professional bringing a solid foundation in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). With at least three years of experience in technical support, system administration, or production operations, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimising critical systems. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of IT.&nbsp;Technical Skills<ul><li>Basic Windows and Linux server operations and administration</li><li>Familiar with AWS, Azure and Alibaba Cloud platforms</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex technical issues.</li><li>Experience with Linux and Windows server administration.</li><li>Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Checkmk, Prometheus, Grafana and Zabbix.</li><li>Experience with incident alerting and management platforms such as OpsGenie.</li><li>Experience administering Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.</li><li>Understanding of SSL/TLS certificate management and renewal processes.</li><li>Experience investigating logs, performing root cause analysis (RCA), and system auditing.</li><li>Experience with deployment processes and production environment support.</li></ul>Scripting &amp; Automation<ul><li>Ability to write and maintain automation or monitoring scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.</li><li>Experience automating operational tasks and monitoring checks.</li><li>Familiarity with integrating monitoring alerts and operational workflows.</li></ul>Operational &amp; Process Skills<ul><li>Experience working in incident management and production support environments.</li><li>Ability to investigate cases, bugs, and incidents and provide mitigation actions.</li><li>Experience coordinating with internal teams and third‑party service providers to resolve platform issues.</li><li>Experience handling GDPR data removal or sensitive data management requests.</li><li>Ability to implement approved configuration changes in QA and Production environments.</li><li>Participation in release management activities including deployment and QA sanity testing.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).</li><li>2+ years of experience in technical support, system administration, or production operations roles.</li><li>Experience supporting mission‑critical platforms or financial systems is a strong advantage.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional technical teams.</li><li>Ability to work in an incident response or on‑call support rotation if required.</li></ul>Main Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary depending on skills and experience.</li><li>Discretionary annual bonus</li><li>Hybrid working model</li><li>Group Medical Scheme</li><li>Provident Plan Scheme</li><li>Training opportunities</li><li>Friendly working environment</li><li>Birthday Vouchers</li></ul>&nbsp;If you wish to join our team, send your CV in English at&nbsp;<a href="mailto:careers@markets.com">careers@markets.com</a>&nbsp;mentioning the title of the position in the subject of the email.&nbsp;Due to the high volume of applicants only successful candidates will be contacted.&nbsp;Please note that we will only be able to accept candidates who have the appropriate rights and documentations for employment in Cyprus.
