Position SummaryThe Junior HR Officer supports the daily operations of the Human Resources &amp; Training Department by handling administrative tasks, maintaining employee records, managing HR documentation, and assisting in recruitment and liaison with government bodies. This role is ideal for an entry-level professional eager to gain experience in a structured healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain up-to-date employee records (employment documents, contracts, professional licenses, health certificates, etc.).</li><li>Monitor validity and ensure timely renewal of professional licenses and mandatory documentation.</li><li>Support the recruitment process: post job adverts, arrange interviews, communicate with candidates.</li><li>Liaise with the Ministry of Health and other authorities to submit necessary documentation for staff registration and compliance.</li><li>Update HR databases and digital files with accuracy and confidentiality.</li><li>Track staff attendance, leaves, and sick days through the HR software.</li><li>Assist in preparing payroll</li><li>Collaborate with the Training Department to track participation in mandatory training programs.</li><li>Provide first-level support on HR inquiries and refer more complex issues to the HR Supervisor.</li></ul>&nbsp;Required Qualifications &amp; Skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Masters degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; Relevant experience in HR and Payroll will be considered an advantage.&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Familiarity with basic employment procedures in Cyprus.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability.&nbsp;What We Offer<ul><li>13th salary</li><li>Provident Fund with 6.5% employer contribution</li><li>Automatic wage index</li><li>38-hour working week</li><li>Thursday half-day, supporting a healthy work–life balance</li><li>Excellent opportunity to develop and grow your career in Human Resources through hands-on experience and continuous learning</li><li>The chance to work in one of the largest private hospitals in Cyprus, operating under strict policies, procedures, and high professional standards</li></ul>
