Job OpportunityWe are seeking a full-time, on-site Senior AML Officer to join our team at MariCorp in Larnaka Municipality. The successful candidate will oversee and enhance the firm’s AML/CFT framework, policies and procedures in line with local and international regulations.&nbsp;About UsMariCorp Cyprus Limited is a leading Corporate Service Provider dedicated to simplifying complex corporate, tax and compliance needs.&nbsp; Supported by an established network of global and local partners, the company offers a one-stop platform for services including substance, banking, licensing, accounting and bookkeeping.&nbsp;Key responsibilities of the AML Administrator:<ul><li>Onboarding of Companies on our AML/DD Software</li><li>Ongoing review of client due diligence to ensure compliance with AML regulations and internal policies</li><li>Communicate with the Corporate Department for transaction monitoring purposes and request KYC data from clients when needed</li><li>Carry out Due Diligence on client’s counterparties to finalize contracts and service agreements</li><li>Run checks against various databases to conduct background checks on clients and counterparties, verifying their identity and assessing any associated risks</li><li>Conduct periodic reviews for completeness of clients' files</li><li>Deliver staff training on compliance matters</li></ul>&nbsp;Profile and Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or any other relevant discipline</li><li>Fluent in Greek and English</li><li>Several years of experience in AML/Compliance roles, ideally in corporate services, financial services, or a similar regulated sector</li><li>Strong understanding of Cyprus AML legislations, EU directives and relevant international best practices</li><li>Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACAMS, ICA, or equivalent) are highly desirable</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain AML requirements clearly to internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Solid knowledge of Sanctions frameworks and screening processes, including PEP, sanctions list monitoring, and escalations procedures</li><li>High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in team setting</li></ul>&nbsp;Remuneration:Salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
