About THP Panayiotides LtdTHP Panayiotides Ltd is a professional services firm providing Audit, Accounting, Tax, Advisory and Business Consulting services to local and international clients. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit an Accountant for our Accounting Department in Nicosia.&nbsp;The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the accounting function for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting and tax requirements.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients.</li><li>Prepare management accounts and financial reports.</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.</li><li>Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax compliance matters.</li><li>Support the preparation of financial statements.</li><li>Liaise with clients to obtain necessary accounting information.</li><li>Assist with payroll processing where required.</li><li>Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations.</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements<ul><li>University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.</li><li>Partly qualified ACCA or in progress (preferred).</li><li>1–3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.</li><li>Experience with accounting software will be considered an advantage (Intelisoft and ODOO).</li><li>Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.</li><li>Good command of the English language.</li></ul>&nbsp;Personal Skills<ul><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Good organisational and time-management skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Good communication skills.</li><li>Willingness to learn and develop professionally.</li></ul>&nbsp;What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.</li><li>13th salary.</li><li>Continuous training and professional development.</li><li>Friendly and supportive working environment.</li><li>Career progression opportunities.</li><li>Friday afternoon off.</li><li>THP is a Gold Approved Employer for ACCA trainee development.</li><li>One day working from home.</li></ul>&nbsp;Working HoursMonday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00 (flexible starting time between 07:00 and 09:00) Friday: 08:00 – 13:30
