Lifeguards & Pool Assistants

The Lifeguard will be responsible for guest safety and aid and protection to participants. He/she will make sure swimmers are following safety rules ensuring their safeness, carry out pool checks and readings, and supply all the necessary materials for the job. He/she will deliver the highest possible quality standards of work and service in the most efficient and effective manner, and will also be pro-active in maintaining and/or improving the department’s profitability in accordance with Hotel policies, procedures and standards. DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Be aware of possible situations where guests are not able to safety participate in an activity and inform supervisor.</li><li>Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.</li><li>Report accident, injuries and unsafe work conditions</li><li>Provide first aid and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation as necessary</li><li>Ensures that glasses or glass plates are not used in the swimming pool area</li><li>Maintains knowledge of facilities including equipment cleaning, checking and maintenance</li></ul>BENEFITS:<ul><li>An attractive remuneration package based on qualifications and experience</li><li>Career Progression</li></ul>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:<ul><li>Graduate from Lyceum or secondary school.</li><li>Must possess valid lifeguard license certified by local safety authorities.</li><li>One year previous experience in a similar position.</li><li>Must speak English very well. Knowledge of another language will be considered an advantage.</li><li>Good communication skills.</li><li>Very pleasant and friendly personality, reliable, polite and responsible.</li></ul>
