Iacovou Group, one of the most reputable and established Construction Groups in Cyprus, seeks to recruit an experienced and high caliber professional for the position of Mechanical Automotive Engineer.&nbsp;Responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensures the workshop’s smooth operation at all times</li><li>Ensures the effective management and development of people</li><li>Coordinates and oversees all technical activities in relation to the repair, service and maintenance of all plant, machinery and equipment</li><li>Supervising workshop technicians</li><li>Troubleshooting machine malfunctions</li><li>Ensures that all plant, machinery and equipment is maintained proactively according to manufacturers' recommendations.</li><li>Ensures the good condition, safety and proper use of all machinery and equipment use at work so as to mitigate any health-related risks to employees</li><li>Ensures the regular testing and maintenance of all the tools equipment of the workshop, the emergency repair work and safe work methods, so as to protect people working and avoid any environmental impact</li><li>Ensures compliance with the corporate, health and safety management system</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>3-5 minimum years of experience on earth-moving machines and trucks</li><li>Experience in Quarrying and Mining will be considered an advantage</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Planning and organisation skills</li><li>Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both verbal and written</li><li>Problem-solving and decision-making skills</li></ul>RemunerationA competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.&nbsp;All applications will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.&nbsp;Please send your CV to <a href="mailto:recruitment@iacovougroup.com">recruitment@iacovougroup.com</a> by July 22nd 2026.&nbsp;Please note that only successful candidates will be contacted.
