ICAP Executive Search &amp; Selection, on behalf of its client,&nbsp;a leading Global Technology Provider, is seeking to recruit&nbsp;a&nbsp;Field Service Technician&nbsp;to join their dynamic team in Limassol and in Nicosia, Cyprus. Field Service Technician&nbsp;-&nbsp;​Ref. (6247/FST/ESS/CY) Role Overview: Are you a hands-on problem solver with a&nbsp;passion for hardware and on-site technical support? This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong&nbsp;technical mindset&nbsp;who&nbsp;enjoys working in the field and delivering practical solutions. As a&nbsp;Field Service Technician,&nbsp;you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of hardware systems at client locations. Your day-to-day duties will involve setting up equipment, performing routine checks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal functionality of devices. You'll also handle basic networking, system updates, and provide first-level support to users when needed. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in electronics, IT support, or electro-mechanical systems, who are looking to apply their skills in a dynamic, customer-facing environment. Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently are key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites</li><li>Prepare sites, including cable installation and equipment setup</li><li>Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks</li><li>Respond promptly to customer issues and escalate when necessary</li><li>Maintain accurate service records and reports</li><li>Ensure compliance with company standards and safety procedures</li><li>Represent the company professionally at all times</li></ul>Candidate Profile:<ul><li>Technical Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Up to 1 year of relevant experience in a technical or IT-related role</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems</li><li>Experience with PC&nbsp;hardware maintenance and support</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently</li><li>Good communication skills and customer-focused mindset</li><li>Valid driver’s license</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Associate’s degree or higher in a technical field (Electronics, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering)</li><li>Experience working with NCR or similar equipment</li><li>CCNA certification is a strong plus</li><li>Previous experience in a service field or customer-facing role</li></ul>Benefits: An attractive remuneration package will be offered, including a&nbsp;13th salary,&nbsp;7% Provident Fund,&nbsp;company car,&nbsp;mobile phone, and additional benefits.
