This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional who is passionate about engineering excellence, preventive maintenance, and leading technical operations within a high-quality hospitality environment.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and manage the hotel's Engineering &amp; Maintenance team, ensuring the efficient operation of all technical systems.</li><li>Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the highest standards of safety, reliability, and guest satisfaction.</li><li>Oversee the maintenance and operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, swimming pools, fire protection systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).</li><li>Manage external contractors and technical service providers while ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations.</li><li>Monitor technical budgets, maintenance costs, and energy consumption, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with health &amp; safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.</li><li>Support renovation projects, technical upgrades, and capital expenditure initiatives when required.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree (University or Technological Institute) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Graduate of a Higher Vocational Training Institute (SAEK/formerly IEK) in Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration, Mechanical Installations, or a related technical discipline, combined with substantial relevant professional experience.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience within the Engineering Department of a hotel, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role such as Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems, plumbing, swimming pool operations, fire protection systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).</li><li>Proven experience in preventive maintenance planning, team leadership, and contractor management.</li><li>Good command of English.</li><li>Good computer skills, including MS Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering will be considered a strong advantage.</li><li>Previous experience in 4-star or 5-star hotels, preferably within large-scale properties or international hotel brands.</li><li>Relevant professional licenses or certifications, where required by legislation.</li><li>Experience in budget management, technical projects, and energy management initiatives.</li></ul>What We Value:&nbsp;At Wavemaker Hospitality, we recognize that hands-on experience is often as valuable as formal academic qualifications.
