Our client, a well-established and reputable company with a strong presence in the beauty salon industry and the real estate rental sector, is seeking to recruit an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join its finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a dynamic business environment and is looking to contribute to the continued success of a growing organization.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure the timely recording of financial transactions.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports.</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts, debtors, creditors, and general ledger accounts.</li><li>Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.</li><li>Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with all applicable tax obligations.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of annual statutory financial statements and coordinate with external auditors.</li><li>Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.</li><li>Supervise and support junior accounting staff where applicable.</li><li>Liaise with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.</li><li>Provide financial analysis and support management in business decision-making.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency.</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>3 years of relevant accounting experience.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.</li><li>Strong understanding of VAT and corporate tax compliance.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.</li><li>Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken.</li></ul>&nbsp;What We Offer<ul><li>13th Salary</li><li>Competitive remuneration package based on qualifications and experience.</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and career progression.</li><li>A supportive and collaborative working environment.</li><li>Exposure to diverse business operations across multiple industries.</li><li>Stable employment within a reputable and growing organization.</li></ul>&nbsp;If you are an experienced accounting professional seeking your next career opportunity, we would be delighted to hear from you.&nbsp;Please send your CV to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:hr@hlb.com.cy">hr@hlb.com.cy</a>&nbsp;referring to code “ACC001”.
