On behalf of our client, a well established and leading organisation operating within the construction materials industry, we are seeking to recruit an Asphalt Production Manager to join its asphalt operations based in Nicosia. &nbsp;&nbsp;Role OverviewThe role offers an excellent opportunity to lead the day-to-day operations of a modern asphalt production facility within a leading international construction materials organisation. Working closely with senior management and operational teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective delivery of asphalt production, while driving operational performance, maintaining high quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Oversee daily operations of the asphalt production plant, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality and efficiency·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Manage the scheduling, batching, and mixing processes to optimize production and reduce downtime·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop production schedules and forecast material and resource needs·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure adherence to customer specifications and delivery deadlines·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Implement and manage quality control measures to ensure that the produced asphalt meets industry standards and project specifications·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Investigate and resolve any quality issues or customer complaints·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure that all production activities comply with safety regulations and environmental legislation·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct regular site safety audits and risk assessments, enforcing safety protocols across the team·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Oversee the maintenance and repair of production machinery and plant equipment·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or safety·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepare regular financial and production reports for senior management&nbsp;Requirements and Desirable Skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil or Chemical Engineering·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) will be considered an advantage·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Minimum 3 years of experience in asphalt production or a similar industry·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge of production processes, plant machinery, and materials·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to manage budgets and control operational costs·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Effective communication and interpersonal skills·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Very good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek.&nbsp;Key Benefits·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Competitive annual gross remuneration package ranging from €40,000 to €50,000, depending on experience and qualifications.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Exposure to a dynamic and modern operational environment, with the opportunity to contribute to large-scale production activities.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Supportive and professional working environment that encourages collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Opportunities for professional development and long-term career progression, based on business needs and individual performance.&nbsp;&nbsp;
