HOTEL CHIEF ENGINEER&nbsp;PAPHOS&nbsp;Our firm, acting on behalf of a reputable hotel client (4* hotel in Paphos), is seeking to recruit a high-calibre professional for the position of&nbsp;Chief Engineer (Head of Maintenance Department).&nbsp;Key Responsibilities• Ensure quality upkeep of the building, grounds, and functionality of all systems.&nbsp;• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to enhance efficiency and extend equipment lifespan.&nbsp;• Oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring the hotel’s infrastructure, equipment, and facilities are maintained at optimal performance.&nbsp;• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team, providing leadership and technical expertise.&nbsp;• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.&nbsp;• Collaborate with management to plan and execute renovations, upgrades, and emergency repairs.&nbsp;• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.&nbsp;• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues efficiently.&nbsp;• Respond to emergency maintenance calls.&nbsp;Requirements• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant certifications in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related fields.&nbsp;• Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or maintenance management within a hotel or similar establishment.&nbsp;• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems.&nbsp;• Ability to work under pressure and manage emergency situations effectively.&nbsp;• Proven ability to lead, supervise, and train a team of technicians and maintenance staff.&nbsp;• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.&nbsp;• Candidates who meet the academic qualifications and demonstrate strong technical competence, even if not previously employed as a Chief Engineer, will also be considered.&nbsp;ApplicationsInterested candidates must apply to D.
