As our team expanding, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant Crew Accounts in Limassol, Cyprus.

Responsibilities:

• Entering the crew travelling expenses in CAPE and other related crew credits and debits.
• Preparing the final wages to be sent on-board.
• Preparing crew payments.
• Checking the slopchest and cash account.
• Providing the vessel’s monthly Wages expenses to the accounts dep with relevant memos.
• Communicating with Crewing agents regarding balances of wage, leave, retirement fund payments.
• Reconciling the allotments of PHI crew.
• Undertaking special tasks and projects that might be assigned by the Accounts & Administration Manager.

Qualifications:

• Good accounting knowledge with a focus on higher or intermediary level in Accounting bookkeeping, preferably holding an LCCI qualification.
• Good knowledge in Adonis payroll system will be consider as an advantage;
• Prior experience in a role that involved responsibilities related to financial reporting and payment execution.
• Proven track record of handling the execution of payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools to efficiently manage financial transactions.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance in financial activities.
• Problem-solving skills to address any discrepancies in financial records and transactions.
