Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the smooth operation of the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record all financial transactions accurately in accordance with IFRS and maintain the general ledger
• Document and file accounting transactions in an organized manner
• Perform reconciliations for suppliers, customers, and bank accounts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports
• Assist with tax filings and VAT submissions
• Coordinate with auditors for year-end audits, providing necessary documentation
• Assist with other day-to-day accounting and operational needs

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements

   

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-4 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role
• Experience with accounting software is essential
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good knowledge of accounting standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
