A specialty brunch café in Larnaca is currently seeking to recruit an Experienced Barista for a full-time (morning shift) position.

Mingle Café is a vibrant brunch destination located in the heart of Larnaca, known for its specialty coffee, healthy breakfast, brunch and lunch menu, as well as our vegan and vegetarian options. We are passionate about quality, hospitality and creating memorable customer experiences.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Barista who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional coffee and customer service.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages and specialty coffees.
• Follow Mingle Café’s coffee recipes and quality standards.
• Dial in espresso and maintain coffee consistency throughout the day.
• Grind coffee, calibrate equipment and monitor extraction quality.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders and brewing equipment correctly.
• Prepare hot and cold beverages including matcha, chai and signature drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station at all times.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained according to company procedures.
• Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups and bar supplies.
• Serve customers in a friendly, professional and welcoming manner.
• Assist with taking orders and processing payments when required.
• Work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow all Health Department and HACCP regulations.
• Participate in ongoing barista training and maintain high coffee standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2–3 years experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop or restaurant.
• Good knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming and latte art.
• Experience working with specialty coffee is considered an advantage.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Passion for coffee and willingness to continue learning.
• Professional appearance and excellent hygiene standards.
