CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a medium-sized Audit & Accounting Firm with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Semi-Senior Auditor to join their growing team. As a Semi-Senior Auditor, you will plan, execute, and complete audit engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries, in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs). Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally working towards a professional accounting qualification, who possess proven experience working in the audit department of an audit or accounting firm. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a generous base salary, 13th salary, and provident fund. Working hours are from 08:00 – 16:30 from Monday to Thursday, and from 08:00 – 14:00 each Friday.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries, in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Identify audit risks and propose appropriate audit procedures.
• Supervise and guide junior team members.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with other assurance and advisory projects where required.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Previous audit experience within an accounting or audit firm.
• Basic understanding of auditing principles and financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to professional development.
