GlobalSource is a growing, sector-leading, private intelligence company looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join the team at our office in Nicosia, Cyprus.

The company provides result-driven bespoke geopolitical and political analysis and monitoring, litigation support, asset searches, due diligence, background checks, competitive intelligence, and risk analysis. Our team is made up of highly experienced and dedicated international professional investigators, analysts, and consultants.

We are looking for a smart and independent individual to work closely with our staff in our Nicosia office and abroad, assisting with research on a variety of projects. The position demands excellent analytical, research, and writing skills, as well as critical thinking and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English.
 

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and duties will vary based on the company’s needs. They will include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct research that will contribute to wider projects tailored to the needs of our clients.
• Work as part of the team to ensure all reports are delivered according to agreed deadlines and within budget.
• Utilize and build on already established digital investigation and intelligence tools.
• Attend events as necessary.
• Opportunity to potentially travel.

Qualification requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in:

• International studies/politics
• Journalism
• Business
• Law

The job position requires:

• Permission to work in Cyprus – must hold an Employment Permit or Registration Certificate (EU Citizens) to work in Cyprus.
• A strong academic background, preferably in a related subject.
• Strong English research, writing, and verbal skills.
• The ability to synthesize and analyse information efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and being a team player.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Resourceful and creative.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web research experience.
• Experience working in diverse teams.
• Additional foreign language abilities are an asset.
