We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team. As a manager, professionalism and technical expertise are expected for this position. The successful candidate should be results driven with leadership and critical thinking skills.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, transaction recording, reconciliations, and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS
• Supervision, coaching, and provision of support to junior team members
• Review/Preparation and authorize VAT returns, VIES forms, and other statutory submissions
• Prepare and analyze management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
• Liaise with local authorities and external stakeholders, as needed
• Provide clients with guidance and advice on accounting, VAT, and compliance issues
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery
• Responsibility for the timely billing and collection of fees from clients
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or another related field is desired
• Qualified ACA/ACCA
• Over 5 years of experience in Accounting Department of an Audit firm
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Cyprus tax legislation, and VAT regulations
• Knowledge of eSoft accounting software will be considered as an additional advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
