CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established, and well-known global business services provider with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Client Bookkeeper to join their growing team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a broad and international client base, providing a range of accounting and bookkeeping services. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance or other relevant fields, and holders of CAT, LCCI Higher or any other relevant accounting certification are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess 2+ years of experience in a relevant position, and be fluent in both verbal and written English. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer which includes a 13th salary, Provident Fund, and Medical Insurance.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting entries.
• Managing in-house accounting for a portfolio of international business clients.
• Preparing and submitting VAT and VIES returns.
• Producing management reports and financial insights.
• Gaining exposure to a wide range of industries and accounting scenarios.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• CAT/LCCI Higher in Accounting or an Associate Degree is desirable.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Strong IT skills, including MS Office and familiarity with accounting software.
• Solid numerical, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate initiative.
