We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Consultant in our Advisory division.

The successful candidate will join the Company’s Advisory team, with a primary focus on restructuring services. In addition, the Candidate will involve participation in other other advisory ad-hoc projects including sustainability- advisory. The candidate will support and empower clients in developing and implementing broader business transformation initiatives including business and debt restructuring, strategic planning, sustainability strategies and reporting etc.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor to support financial advisory engagements, with a strong focus on restructuring, insolvency, and strategic business transformation. This role involves providing advisory services to corporate and individual clients, contributing to financial recovery, operational improvement, and long-term value creation. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead financial analysis, including assessment of financial position, liquidity, and cash flow forecasting
• Drive restructuring and turnaround engagements, including drafting and implementing restructuring and debt settlement plans
• Prepare business plans, expansion strategies, and advisory proposals for clients
• Conduct independent business reviews, performance monitoring, and viability assessments
• Develop financial models, perform business valuations, and advise on capital structure
• Provide advisory support on Cyprus insolvency matters, including involvement in liquidations and receiverships
• Advice on pricing, costing, and profitability optimization strategies
• Involvement in sustainability transformation projects and reporting.

The Requirements

The successful applicant should be a newly qualified professional accountant (ACA/ACCA) with excellent verbal, technical, analytical and communication skills who is driven to learn and to progress quickly. Prior involvement and/or experience on the below would be considered an advantage: 

• Experience in restructuring, insolvency, or corporate finance
• Understanding of Cyprus insolvency framework (corporate and personal)
• Financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and manage complex assignments
• Certifications in ESG reporting, carbon accounting, or recognized sustainability frameworks will be considered an advantage and a bachelor’s degree or academic qualification in one or more of the following disciplines will be viewed favourably:
  • Environmental Science / Environmental Management 
  • Sustainability / Sustainable Development 
  • Any other studies with sustainability or ESG focus
