Imperio is a leading property development and management firm in Cyprus, well-known for delivering exceptional projects over the past 20 years. 

 

We are looking to recruit an Architect to join our expanding Technical Department and contribute to the successful delivery of our upcoming residential and commercial projects in Limassol.

 

The Architect will be responsible for managing construction drawing packages, designing construction drawings and details, and being part of the on-site supervision team, working closely with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to bring concepts to life.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate architectural drawings, technical submissions, material samples and construction documentation prepared by design consultants to ensure alignment with the project brief, quality standards and employer requirements.

• Coordinate and monitor the design development process across architectural, structural, MEP and specialist disciplines to ensure design integration and consistency.

•  Develop architectural drawings, technical details, presentations, models and renderings as required to support design review, coordination and project decision-making processes.

• Conduct regular site visits and inspections during construction phases to verify that works are implemented in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and design intent.
• Participate in design coordination meetings, progress meetings and technical workshops with consultants, contractors and stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of design and construction-related issues.
• Review consultant and contractor submissions for compliance with project specifications, local building regulations, zoning laws, fire safety requirements, planning regulations and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, contractors and authorities to support efficient project delivery and minimize design conflicts during construction.
• Support the evaluation of proposed design changes, value engineering proposals and technical solutions from consultants and contractors.
• Ensure all project activities comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including ETEK guidelines and local authority approvals.

• Stay informed on current architectural practices, construction methodologies, materials and industry technologies to support project quality and efficiency.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Architecture.

• 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong knowledge of building systems, codes and construction practices.

• Fluency in Greek and English is essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and BIM software.

• Experience in sustainable and green building is a plus.

• Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS or ETEK) is considered an advantage.
