Associate Lawyer

As part of its drive to further enrich and expand its litigation department and build on its strong track record acting for high-profile local and international clients in complex corporate & commercial disputes, the Limassol Office of SCORDIS, PAPAPETROU & CO LLC is looking to recruit a motivated and dedicated Associate Lawyer to join its corporate & commercial litigation team.

SCORDIS, PAPAPETROU & Co is a multi-discipline group that includes the well-known and reputable law firm, SCORDIS, PAPAPETROU & Co LLC, a law firm, a Corporate Services arm as well as other affiliates, providing services to clients both in Cyprus and worldwide. The Law Firm has a history of over 100 years, nearly two centuries, in the aggregate, of practice and expertise, and its team comprises over 30 advocates and legal consultants, 15 inhouse qualified professionals of related disciplines and 50 paralegal, administrative and other personnel with Offices in Nicosia, Limassol, Athens and the UAE.

The Role

 ·      Providing advice to clients, with regard to all aspects of corporate & commercial disputes

·       Acting for clients and participating in the conduct and hearings of complex commercial and corporate          litigation and arbitration

·       Playing an active role in the litigation department’s drive to further broaden its practice

·       Assisting with the training and guiding of trainees and junior lawyers

What We Are Looking For

 ·      Member of the Cyprus Bar Association

·       At least five (5) years of experience in corporate & commercial litigation inclusive of hearings.

·       Excellent Academic Qualifications (any further academic or vocational qualification in Law/Legal                  Practice/BPTC will be considered an advantage).

·       Excellent command of Greek and English language both verbal and written, additional languages an              advantage

·        Excellent knowledge of MS Office

·        Excellent client service skills

·        Excellent team player

·        Professional, reliable and detail-oriented
