SNEMA LTD is seeking to recruit a Construction Manager.

The Construction Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling, and monitoring the execution of all construction-related works, ensuring that the projects are delivered in full compliance with approved construction drawings, contract documents, technical specifications, health and safety regulations, and all applicable standards. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for ensuring high standards of quality, operational efficiency, and strict adherence to agreed schedules and budgets.

Main responsibilities:

·       Study the architectural, structural and other drawings and the specification, identify problems/ areas for clarification, and ensure that Site Engineers, foremen and subcontractors involved are sufficiently informed. Collaborate with the Project Manager, the Architects and the consultants for the effective supervision of the works

·       Confirm compatibility of site conditions with designs 

·       Assess quality of materials and the performance of materials suppliers of the project.

·       Monitor and support the work of subcontractors with the aim of delivering the highest possible workmanship within the project timeframes

·       Monitor and report project progress on a weekly basis

·       Ensure adherence to Health & Safety guidelines

·       Ensure regulatory compliance during project execution

·       Ensure that accurate inventory records of materials and equipment are kept

·       Have overall responsibility for site engineers and foremen, ensuring effective supervision and performance management.

Necessary qualifications:

·       University Degree in Civil Engineering or Architect 

·       5+ years relevant experience in construction projects.  Experience in Cyprus Construction projects preferred

·       Excellent Computer Skills, MS Office, Autocad, Internet and Outlook Express

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.
