• Cook dishes: Operate kitchen appliances like grills, ovens, and stoves to bake, fry, grill, or boil food to proper temperatures.
• Plate and garnish: Assemble, garnish, and present dishes so they look neat and meet quality standards. 
• Sanitize stations: Clean work areas, utensils, cutting boards, and equipment before, during, and after shifts.
• Follow safety rules: Adhere to health codes, food safety regulations, and proper hygiene standards.
• Store food properly: Label, date, and store food at safe temperatures using methods like FIFO (First In, First Out)
• Check inventory levels, restock workstations, and report food shortages to a manager or chef.
• Communicate: Work closely with other cooks, kitchen staff, and servers to ensure fast and smooth service.
