Main responsibilities and Accountabilities
Crew certification - Ensuring that seafarers comply with STCW and flag state requirements for
the vessel he is joining and in accordance with the Company’s procedures and handle necessary
applications and formalities with flag and national authorities.
Training – Arrange training for crew as per client’s instructions and in liaison with the Risk and
Safety Manager and Technical Manager of the clients.
Employment contracts - Ensure that employment contracts are established with the seafarers
as per company instructions and forward to for signing as authorized by the client in respective PoA.
Crew records - Maintaining crew records in the crewing software and hardcopy files
Feedback and training – Keep record of appraisal and debriefing reports and bring identified
training needs or other important findings to the attention Crewing Manager.
Travel documents - Processing travel documents and visa as required.
General assistance in the accounting department (debit note preparation, checking of payments, filing and record keeping)
Other special tasks and projects as per the Crewing and Accounting Manager’s Instructions.
