CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and respected company providing critical services to some of Cyprus’ largest and most well-known Insurance companies, we are seeking to recruit a Dispatch Coordinator to join their expanding team based in Nicosia. As a Dispatch Coordinator, you are the backbone of the operational team, serving as the critical anchor responsible for ensuring seamless execution and high-quality service during your shift. In this fast-paced environment, you will connect clients with timely roadside assistance by combining sharp coordination, quick decision-making, and clear communication. The successful applicant will work closely with the Operations Manager assisting with the coordination and organisation of all key services and operations for the company. You will be a strong multitasker with outstanding communication, client service and organisational skills. Fluency in English & Greek (written & spoken) is essential. Rotational Shift Patterns apply for this position.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Take overall responsibility for the smooth running of operations during your shift.
• Receive, assess, and assign incoming incidents to the appropriate field units.
• Coordinate resources to ensure an efficient and timely response.
• Monitor ongoing incidents and resolve any operational or logistical issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and incidents.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service levels.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, field teams, and other operational staff.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Able to work 24/7 shifts on rotation - 5-day working week, Monday to Sunday (Morning: 07:00 – 15:00, 10:00 – 18:00, Afternoon: 15:00 – 23:00, Night: 23:00 – 07:00 – 100% Remote / Work from Home).
• Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, customer service, or another fast-paced operational environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick, practical decisions under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with digital communication tools and dispatch management systems.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Fluency in Greek and English is a must.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
