Key Requirements
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work flexible days - hours, based on event schedules and needs.
- Previous experience in event setup, support and hosting is an advantage.
- Hands-on problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Very good communication skills and team player.
Qualifications
- Relevant Training.
Relevant diploma and / or previous experience will be considered as advantage.
Main responsibilities
Event Planning & Organizing:
- Assist in organizing, supporting and coordinating events, including in logistics, scheduling and setup and in other relevant tasks as instructed.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and staff to ensure event requirements are met.
- Assist with decorations, seating arrangements, and event equipment / materials preparation.
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth execution.
- Handle administrative tasks such as preparing event reports and maintaining records.
Purchase necessary items from partners or suppliers as instructed and required for the event execution.
Maintenance & Support:
- Perform support and basic maintenance tasks to keep event spaces clean, well-organized, and functional.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and facilities and identify any repair or correction needs.
- Coordinate with external contractors for repair and maintenance services required, as per instructions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards in all event spaces.
- Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment before and after events.
Key Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively cooperate with people of different nationalities in a professional, polite and tactful manner.
- Well organized, analytical and methodical.
- Customer and results oriented.
- Diligent, with very good attention to detail.
- Computer literate, MS Office suite, Internet.
