Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of a client, is seeking a Freight Forwarder to support and coordinate end-to-end freight forwarding activities across different sectors in Limassol.

 

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced logistics environment, coordinating shipments with precision, and ensuring smooth communication between all parties involved, this role is for you.

 

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations, including import and export shipments.
• Coordinate bookings with shipping lines, agents and carriers.
• Prepare, review and process shipping documentation (BLs, invoices, packing lists, pre-alerts, delivery orders).
• Monitor shipment progress, proactively follow up on pending matters and ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate effectively with clients, agents, shipping lines and internal departments.
• Ensure accurate and timely updating of shipment files and systems, particularly Freight Plus.
• Identify and resolve issues, escalating where necessary to minimize delays and errors.
• Maintain high service quality and contribute positively to the team’s workflow.

 

What we are looking for

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding.
• Good understanding of import/export procedures and shipping documentation     (bookings, pre-alerts, delivery orders) with client coordination experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Excellent command of Greek and English (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital systems.
• Freight Plus knowledge is a must.
• Fast and accurate handling of shipment files with timely follow-up with agents, shipping lines, and clients.
• Highly organised, disciplined, and deadline-focused with a proactive mindset.
• Clear communication with proper escalation when required.
• Focus on reducing delays, errors, and open cases while contributing to team efficiency and service quality.
