What We’re Looking For:

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Limassol, reporting to the executive leadership team and working closely with the Board, external auditors, and regulators. The Head of Finance owns both the strategic financial direction of IC Markets (EU) and the day-to-day integrity of its accounting, reporting, and control environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and execute the company's financial strategy, and lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Oversee the full accounting cycle and timely preparation of statutory and management financial statements under IFRS.
• Maintain a robust internal control environment and manage the external audit process end-to-end.
• Drive capital management, liquidity, treasury, and FX exposure management appropriate to a regulated CFD broker.
• Ensure full compliance with CySEC, MiFID II, AML, and Cyprus/EU tax obligations, and own all regulatory reporting (CySEC, ICF, transaction and prudential returns).
• Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic initiatives — pricing, product profitability, new market entry, and corporate development — and deliver decision-grade analysis, KPIs, and management reporting.
• Manage relationships with banks, payment providers, auditors, regulators, and other key external counterparties.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, setting clear performance standards and succession plans.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (Head of Finance, Financial Controller, Finance Director, or CFO), ideally within a CySEC-regulated investment firm, CFD broker, or other EU-regulated financial services business.
• Proficiency in preparing and analysing financial statements and managing financial reporting
• Strong expertise in Finance, Budgeting, and related strategic planning processes
• Exceptional Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and support business insights
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements within the forex or financial sector
• Proven leadership abilities and effective stakeholder management experience
• Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) are highly advantageous
• Proficiency in financial software and tools to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
• Demonstrated experience preparing IFRS financial statements and managing the full audit cycle with Big 4 or top-tier audit firms.
• Strong working knowledge of CySEC regulations, MiFID II, the Investor Compensation Fund (ICF) framework, AML/CFT requirements, and Cyprus corporate tax and VAT.
• Hands-on experience with treasury management, client-money segregation, capital adequacy (ICAAP / IFR/IFD), and regulatory capital reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Greek is an advantage.

Working Schedule: Onsite Monday to Friday – 09:00 to 17:00
