Leonardo Hotels & Resorts Mediterranean is currently recruiting for the position of Head Receptionist at GrandResort by Leonardo Hotels.

GrandResort is an established hotel operating all year round, offering a stable year-round employment opportunity.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in the activities of Receptionists, including selling, registering and assigning rooms to incoming guests.
• Effectively communicate and cooperate with all levels of employees, using sound judgement and common sense to coordinate activities and achieve the best possible performance.
• Ensure that all arrival and departure procedures, as well as all other departmental procedures, are followed.
• Verify that all daily arrivals have their assigned rooms ready at the appointed time. Check for any pending arrivals or departures and report them to the Front Office Manager.
• Be familiar with the opening hours of all hotel departments, amenities and facilities, as well as scheduled events such as live music evenings and Cyprus nights.
• Check for any pending maintenance issues and report them to the Front Office Manager. Any damages that have not been rectified should be recorded in the daily Maintenance Report.
• Be informed about the general availability of room types for the day in order to promote room sales and upgrades, with the aim of maximizing the average room rate.
• Issue all departure invoices for the day and check them carefully before presenting them to guests.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Pleasant and professional personality.
• Excellent command of the English language. Knowledge of an additional language will be considered an advantage.
• Diploma from a Hotel School or previous experience in a similar position.
