Housekeeper – Full-Time & Part-Time 

Aelia Wellness Retreat is a boutique hotel and wellness centre offering comfortable accommodation, a restaurant, spa, gym, and a range of wellness and hospitality services. 

We are currently looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout our property. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Clean and maintain on a daily basis our 14 guest accommodation rooms, as well as indoor and outdoor common hotel areas. 

• Perform daily housekeeping duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care. 

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and ensure all areas meet the required hygiene standards. 

• Replenish guest and housekeeping supplies, including toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, and other amenities. 

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel laundry and linen. 

• Maintain a high standard of presentation for guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities. 

• Coordinate daily housekeeping duties and schedules with other members of the cleaning team. 

• Work closely with the Front Desk team to accommodate special guest requests and prepare welcome amenities. 

• Carry out routine inspections and report any maintenance issues, damages, or deficiencies to management promptly. 

• Notify management of any repairs, replacements, or additional cleaning requirements. 

• Assist with ordering and monitoring housekeeping and cleaning supplies when required. 

• Carry out deep-cleaning tasks and special cleaning projects as needed. 

• Perform dishwashing duties when required. 

• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and cleaning procedures and standards. 

• Maintain a professional, friendly, and respectful attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues. 

• Perform other duties related to housekeeping and hotel operations as reasonably assigned by management. 

Requirements & Experience 

• Minimum 2 years of previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry. 

• Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel cleaning, or domestic work is highly desirable. 

• Practical experience with cleaning, laundry, and ironing. 

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. 

• Ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team. 

• Friendly, conscientious, reliable, and positive attitude. 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment. 

• Physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties and handling the demands of the role. 

• Valid legal visa/work authorization and all necessary legal documentation.
