CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a global provider of payment solutions with expanding operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit an IT Project Manager to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As an IT Project Manager, you will lead global projects of varying scale through all aspects of their end-to-end lifecycle working with clients, internal teams and external partners. As part of your role, you will define the project plan and ensure appropriate monitoring and control during project execution, ensuring the project is delivered within scope, time, budget and quality dimensions. Our client is seeking applicants who hold 2+ years of proven end-to-end project management experience in the IT industry, with any knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMI and/or Prince 2 considered a plus. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Lead global Projects of varying scale through all aspects of their end-to-end lifecycle working with clients, internal teams and external partners.
• Ensure effective elicitation of requirements and formulation of fit for purpose solutions along with relevant implementation strategies which are agreed with all parties.
• Define the project plan baseline and ensure appropriate monitoring and control during project execution so the project is delivered within baseline scope, time, budget and quality dimensions.
• Build lasting relationships with internal and/or external client stakeholders, including senior sponsors, to ensure ongoing alignment and ultimately satisfaction with delivery outcomes.
• Use industry best practices and project management methodologies to implement effective governance and optimise performance.
• Deal with orchestrating cross functional teams, work scheduling and prioritisation, communications and reporting, issue, risk, stakeholder and change management etc. in order to successfully meet the project’s objectives.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Finance, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification (e.g., Prince2) preferred.
• 2+ years of end-to-end project management experience in the IT industry, ideally within financial services or payment systems, including delivery of software implementation projects across the full SDLC.
• Proven experience managing multiple client-facing projects in a virtual, multinational environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and lead cross-functional teams under pressure.
• Hands-on experience producing and maintaining project artefacts such as project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and dashboards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with flexibility to work across time zones and travel as required.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with working knowledge of MS Project.
