Junior Microsoft & Infrastructure Solutions Support Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about Microsoft technologies, cloud services, and IT infrastructure and wishes to develop a successful career in enterprise IT solutions. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineers, assisting with the deployment, support, and maintenance of Microsoft infrastructure and cloud environments while gaining hands-on experience with modern technologies and best practices.
Main Responsibilities
• Be a member of the Infrastructure Services Team, working under the supervision of the Team Leader.
• Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support for customer environments, addressing and processing daily support calls, resolving problems, and delivering solutions.
• Assist with the administration and support of:
◦ Microsoft 365 & Exchange Online
◦ Microsoft Entra ID & Active Directory
◦ Windows Server & Windows 10/11
◦ Microsoft Teams & SharePoint Online
◦ Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management
• Monitor customer systems and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Troubleshoot user and workstation issues; assist with infrastructure-related incidents.
• Assist in the deployment and migration of Microsoft cloud and infrastructure solutions.
• Improve and fine-tune existing environments to strengthen performance, reliability, and security.
• Perform routine system maintenance and health checks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Pursue continuous training and development toward Microsoft certifications.
Required Technical Skills
Microsoft Technologies
• Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 administration
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
• Understanding of Microsoft Teams and Exchange Online
Infrastructure & Networking
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Basic understanding of endpoint management concepts
• Familiarity with virtualisation technologies is an advantage
• Basic PowerShell knowledge is considered an advantage
General IT Skills
• Troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of IT support processes and ticketing systems
Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant IT support or infrastructure experience.
• Recent graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Preferred Certifications
The following certifications are considered an advantage:
• Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals (AZ-900)
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900)
• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
• ITIL Foundation
