LABORATORY SCIENTIFIC OFFICER

We are looking for a Laboratory Scientific Officer to join the Bioinformatics Department of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics. 

This position is for a period of 1 year, with a possibility of an extension. 

JOB SUMMARY 

The successful candidate will work in the Project HORIZON-HLTH-2023-DISEASE-03-07 entitled “Targeting Epstein-Barr Virus Infection for Treatment and Prevention of Multiple Sclerosis (EBV-MS)” funded by the European Commission.

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

• BSc or equivalent degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Computational Biology, Engineering or closely related field. 
• Command of the English language

The following will be considered as advantage:

• Postgraduate Studies in Bioinformatics, Data Analysis, other related fields
• Experience in Omics Data Analytics
• Strong programming skills
