About us
A.Z Accountancy & Tax Ltd provides accounting, tax and corporate services to a varied portfolio of local and international clients. We're looking for an experienced Manager to lead our Compliance Services team.

The role
You will own the compliance of our client portfolio (limited companies, trusts and individuals), making sure every client meets its obligations under Cyprus company and tax law.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee corporate compliance under the Cyprus Companies Law (Cap. 113), including annual returns, statutory registers, filings with the Registrar of Companies and UBO register obligations.
• Manage tax compliance for companies and individuals: income tax returns (TD4, TD1), provisional tax, Special Defence Contribution, VAT and VIES filings, and payroll/employer returns.
• Oversee trust compliance, including registration, reporting and beneficial ownership obligations.
• Monitor AML/KYC compliance and client due diligence across the portfolio.
• Keep track of changes in Cyprus and EU tax and regulatory rules, and advise clients and the team on what they mean in practice.
• Review work done by the team, manage deadlines and act as the main contact for clients.
• Supervise and support the compliance team.
• Deal with the Tax Department, the Registrar of Companies and other authorities as needed.

Requirements

• A recognised professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent), or a relevant degree plus progress toward one.
• At least 3 years of experience in tax and/or corporate compliance.
• A solid working knowledge of Cyprus company, tax and AML legislation.
• Experience with a mixed portfolio of companies, trusts and individuals.
• Strong organisational skills and a reliable approach to deadlines.
• Excellent English; Greek is an advantage.
