The English School Institute exists to promote academic excellence through high quality processes of teaching and learning. The Institute seeks to maximise individual potential by providing rich and engaging educational experiences and challenges, supported by talented and trained staff, in a safe and caring environment and using modern pedagogical techniques and new technologies.

 

Mathematics Teacher at The English School Institute- Preparatory lessons for entrance exams and UCMAS teacher (€30 per hour)

 

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

·       First Degree in Mathematics or Primary Education.

·       Familiarity with year 5 and 6 primary school curriculum

·       Available to be trained as a UCMAS teacher

·       Experience in teaching preparatory mathematics lessons to year 5 and year 6 primary school students would be considered an advantage

·       Teaching experience with primary-school-age children would be considered and advantage.

·       Knowledge and experience of using ICT to enhance classroom teaching is desirable

·       Excellent spoken and written command of the English Language
