VLPG Plant Ltd, located in the Vasilikos Energy and Industrial Area, has core business activities in the import of LPG, storage, cylinder filling and reconditioning, and bulk truck loading. The company is seeking for a qualified Engineer to join its team, with primary responsibility for the efficient, safe and reliable operation of the LPG Cylinder Reconditioning Unit.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production (Primary Focus):

• Plan, organize and supervise the day-to-day operation of the Reconditioning Unit.
• Lead, coordinate and mentor personnel under the Engineer’s responsibility, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Monitor production output and performance of the reconditioning line and ensure cylinders are processed in accordance with applicable procedures, technical requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate operational, inspection, maintenance and production records.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical and operational issues and recommend improvements to equipment, working practices and processes.

Operations (Supporting Role):

• Oversee operations related to cylinder filling and bulk tank-truck loading and general plant functions.
• Implements and maintains high Environmental, Health and Safety standards in the workplace.
• Supports employee safety awareness and training activities.
• Manages the Plant's Operations from the Control Room.

General:

• Oversees and recommends regular technical audits to identify areas of improvement for the LPG Plant with an aim to increase production output, maintain high safety standards, ensure measuring equipment accuracy, and minimize any other related risks.
• Enforcement of product quality control standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience - preferred in an industrial, manufacturing or production environment with electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Experience in occupational Health & Safety systems, risk assessments and industrial safety practices will be considered an advantage.

• Engineering background with strong technical expertise and disciplined approach to operations and management
• Willingness to learn and to pass on knowledge to staff
• HSSE Management, Site Operations Management, Compliance Management, Human Resources Management, Administrative Skills, Communication Skills, Partnership and Teamwork
