Albourne is a global financial services group of companies with 650 employees worldwide. Our objective is to advise our clients to be the best investors they can be. The company’s main areas of focus are fund research, portfolio and risk advice, FinTech and implementation. Albourne’s office in Nicosia opened in 1998 and it provides back office and IT services to the regulated companies of the Albourne group; it currently has over 340 dynamic employees and we are looking to have more to join our teams across various functions in 2026.

The Role
As a QA Automation Intern in the IT Team, you will be introduced to the world of software quality engineering and automated testing. You will gain hands‑on experience working with real systems and applications, learning how automated tests are designed, executed, and monitored across Albourne’s internal platforms.
You will develop both your technical and analytical skills while working closely with QA Engineers and Developers to support the stability, performance, and reliability of our applications.
Insights to the Role
- Assist with monitoring existing automated test pipelines, reviewing test execution results, and preparing simple reports for the QA and Development teams
- Support QA Engineers in conducting automated testing and helping identify basic issues within internal systems
- Help expand automated website testing for new and existing web applications under guidance
- Assist in monitoring performance, stability, and regression indicators across web applications
- Contribute to user log analysis to help understand real user behavior and turn findings into simple test scenarios
- Help with documentation, including updating test cases, test steps, and automation notes
- Perform basic manual testing when required to support new features or urgent releases
- Participate in learning tasks and small QA or automation projects assigned by the Head of IT
What we’re looking for
- Students currently completing their final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any related technical degree
- Basic understanding of software testing principles (manual or automated)
- Familiarity with any programming language (Java is an advantage)
- Interest in web automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright
- Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn new technologies
- Good organizational and time‑management skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment under deadlines
- Professional, cooperative demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to sign and comply with Albourne Compliance Manuals and procedures
