About us TONI&GUY is a busy, design-led hair salon known for creative cutting, colour expertise and exceptional client care. Our front desk is the first and last impression every client has of us, and we're looking for a warm, organised and polished Receptionist to join our team.
The role You'll be the welcoming face of the salon and the person who keeps the day running smoothly. You'll greet every client, manage the appointment book, and work closely with our stylists and salon manager so the floor runs on time and every guest leaves happy.
Key responsibilities
Greeting clients warmly, checking them in and offering refreshments
Managing bookings by phone, email, social media and our salon software, making the most of each stylist's column
Handling payments, cash-up and end-of-day reports accurately
Confirming appointments and following up on cancellations and no-shows
Recommending and selling retail products, and promoting services and offers
Keeping reception and retail displays clean, stocked and presentable
Dealing with client queries and concerns calmly and professionally, and escalating where needed
Supporting the team with general admin as required
About you
Previous reception, front-of-house, hospitality or retail experience (salon experience is a bonus, not essential)
Friendly, confident and well-presented, with excellent communication skills
Highly organised, able to multitask and stay calm when the salon is busy
Comfortable with booking systems and basic IT (training provided)
Reliable, punctual and a genuine team player
Available to work Saturdays and some late evenings on a rota basis
