As part of our continuous growth, we are currently seeking to recruit an:

RETAIL AREA MANAGER CY, SPORTS BRANDS   

Brief Description

We are looking for a results - driven Retail Area Manager  to be responsible for the overall Store Management. The successful candidate will manage Stores Managers, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively 

Core Responsibilities

•  Set retail sales targets and customer service standards. Monitor the results. 
• Drive sales teams to achieve the sales targets and objectives. 
• Communicate effectively to the teams and management and plan store visits.  
• Monitor KPI’s (UPT, AST, Conversion rate, traffic).
• Individual evaluation of store managers and sales team performance. 
• Collaborate with store managers in order to identify challenges in each door. Set and implement action plans accordingly. 
• Control expenses, annual leaves of the personnel and shifts. 
• Supervise the store sales team and the operational conditions of store such as VM, hygiene, safety, maintenance, warehouse etc. 
• Ensure that store management procedures are executed correctly (opening & closing, cash handling, safety, HR).
• Train & develop the store managers to successfully manage their stores. 
• Be aware of any staffing needs, choose the best candidates to create successful and productive teams. 
• Successfully manage new door openings. Cooperate with the relevant departments of the company when needed. Inform the technical department of any issues regarding the construction.  
• Monitor the competition. 
• Monitor merchandise and stock in each door. Be in touch with the Inventory department. 
• Collaborate with the Marketing department in order to proceed with marketing actions when needed. 

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Management or relevant. 
• 3 + years of experience in a similar position. Previous experience in the clothing & footwear industry in the retail sector will be considered a plus.
• Experience in sales, sales analysis, store management & general retail operations. 
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel & Power point, Outlook).  
• Excellent command of the English language (writing & verbal). 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment. 
• Result oriented individual with critical thinking and ability to resolve any matters that may occur. 
• Ability to train & coach the current personnel and new hires. A team player who leads by example. 
• Professional attitude.
