The Role
We are looking for a driven and technically curious Sales Executive to join our commercial team. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and positioning Guardbyte's full portfolio of managed IT and cybersecurity services to SME and mid-market clients.
This is a hunter-farmer hybrid role — you will be expected to prospect and close new logos while also growing and retaining an existing book of business. You will work closely with our pre-sales engineers and solutions architects to develop compelling proposals that address real client challenges.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across target verticals through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
• Own the full sales cycle — from initial discovery through proposal, negotiation, and contract close
• Position and articulate Guardbyte's managed IT and cybersecurity offerings, including endpoint protection, SOC services, cloud security, and compliance solutions
• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with decision-makers including IT managers, CTOs, CFOs, and business owners
• Collaborate with solutions architects and technical teams to develop tailored proposals and RFP responses
• Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline in the CRM, providing regular forecasting to management
• Stay current with industry trends, threat landscapes, and competitor offerings to position Guardbyte effectively
• Represent Guardbyte at industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
• Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within IT services, cybersecurity, or a technology MSP environment
• Strong understanding of managed services, cyber threats, and IT security concepts
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with a consultative, solution-oriented approach
• Experience with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, vendor sales certs) are a plus
Nice to Have
• Background in selling DLP, endpoint security, SIEM, or compliance solutions
• Experience engaging with C-suite and senior IT stakeholders
• Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or NIS2
• Existing network of SME or mid-market contacts in the region
• Experience working with vendor partner programmes
