About the Role
Olympia Group is experiencing a period of strong growth and is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance Division in Cyprus, reporting directly to the Chief Accountant. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Group’s financial reporting function, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of management accounts, group consolidations and statutory reporting in accordance with IFRS.

Core Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage the Group’s internal accounting function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
· Prepare timely and accurate management accounts in accordance with IFRS, supporting informed business and strategic decision-making.
· Lead the preparation of group consolidations, ensuring the accurate consolidation of financial information across the Group’s portfolio of companies.
· Coordinate and support external audits, acting as a key liaison with auditors and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient and compliant audit processes.
· Review quarterly VAT returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and reporting requirements.
· Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial analysis and insights to management.
· Undertake ad-hoc projects and other responsibilities as assigned by management, contributing to the continuous improvement of the finance function.
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university.
· A professional accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA is essential.
· 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit
· Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and verbal.
· A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality.
