Our Firm 

BDO Limited is the Cyprus’ member firm of BDO International, the world’s fifth  largest accountancy network, currently employing more than 160 professionals in  our offices in Cyprus, offering a wide range of professional services including audit,  tax, accounting, corporate administration, business services outsourcing and  financial advisory. 

The Role 

The person to be appointed will be part of the firm’s accounting team in Nicosia. 

Key duties shall include: 

• Maintaining books of account on behalf of our clients. 

• Preparing reconciliation statements and computing VAT returns. 

• Preparing periodic management accounts, including cash flow, income statements and balance sheets. 

• Monitoring and analysing accounting data and producing financial reports  and relevant statements. 

• Liaising with auditors and provision of comprehensive accounting  information and clarifications required for the completion of audit  assignments. 

The Requirements 

• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience in a relevant  position with similar duties as described above. 

• Experience in bookkeeping for international clients. 

• LCCI qualification or other relevant bookkeeping qualification. 

• Good knowledge of IFRS principles. 

• Excellent knowledge of English. 

• Excellent organisational and communication skills 

• Strong analytical thinking with sharp attention to detail. 

• Sound knowledge of accounting software. 

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
