CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding High Technology company which develops custom data solutions, including data integration and structuring services to clients around the world, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will design and building scalable backend systems using Python, as well as develop high-performance, intuitive frontends using React. Our client is seeking applicants who possess strong experience in Python & React, with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design. You will need to hold experience working with large-scale datasets and high-performance systems, with the ability to reason with noisy, incomplete, or probabilistic data. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a generous base salary, 13th salary, medical insurance, flexible working hours, and hybrid working options.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Design and build scalable backend systems using Python.
Develop high-performance, intuitive frontends using React.
Architect and maintain APIs and services that handle large-scale data processing.
Work with massive datasets (billions of events) and optimize for performance and accuracy.
Design pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and querying of complex data.
Implement advanced filtering, aggregation, and profiling capabilities.
Apply data science concepts to improve targeting, profiling, and insights.
Work closely with data scientists to productionize models and algorithms.
Optimize systems for speed, efficiency, and reliability at scale.
Work with distributed systems, columnar databases, and caching strategies.
Break down ambiguous, complex problems into actionable solutions.
Take full ownership of features from design to deployment.
Key Skills/Experience:
Strong experience in Python (data processing, backend systems, APIs).
Strong experience in React (modern frontend development).
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Experience working with large-scale datasets and high-performance systems.
Strong grasp of data science fundamentals (statistics, probability, data modelling).
Experience working with analytical databases (e.g., ClickHouse, BigQuery, etc.).
Ability to reason with noisy, incomplete, or probabilistic data.
Exceptional problem-solving ability.
High ownership and accountability.
Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.
Strong attention to detail with a bias for action.
