Senior Team Member, Restructuring & Debt Advisory Department - Nicosia

We are seeking an experienced and qualified or semi-qualified professional to join our Restructuring & Debt Advisory team within our Deal Advisory Department in Nicosia. The successful candidate will support the delivery of Corporate Restructuring (operational and financial), Corporate Insolvency (liquidations, receiverships, examinerships), and Debt Advisory projects (such as independent business reviews, review of financial forecasts etc.), contributing to financial analysis, stakeholder engagement, and the preparation of key advisory deliverables.
The Opportunity:
- Assist in the execution of restructuring, insolvency, and debt advisory projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely execution
- Support of licensed Insolvency Practitioners on formal appointments
- Conduct in-depth financial, operational, and market analysis to support project conclusions and recommendations
- Develop robust financial models, business plans, and cash flow projections
- Prepare comprehensive reports including feasibility studies, restructuring plans, IBRs, insolvency progress and formal reports, and other advisory deliverables
- Participate in, and where appropriate lead, meetings and negotiations with clients, financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with team members and support junior staff on assigned activities
The Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Banking or a related field
- Qualified Accountant or Semi-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with 3-4 years of experience
- Possession of relevant experience in restructuring, insolvency, corporate finance, banking, or related advisory areas will be considered an advantage
- Strong knowledge and practical exposure to corporate financial analysis, credit assessment, financial restructuring, cash flow modelling, and banking operations
- Familiarity with the Cyprus Insolvency Framework, relevant legislation, and industry regulations
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken)
- Strong IT literacy, including proficiency in Excel/Word
