Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our team. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, and a commitment to delivering outstanding dishes consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in all aspects of kitchen management, including food preparation, and plating.
Ensure high-quality food standards and consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
Oversee kitchen staff, providing training, motivation, and guidance to maintain a strong and efficient team.
Monitor food inventory and ensure proper stock levels, ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
Ensure timely and efficient service, coordinating with the front-of-house team for a seamless dining experience.
Assist in managing kitchen costs, minimizing waste, and optimizing productivity.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Chef or sous chef or in a similar leadership role in a high-quality restaurant.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Creativity and passion for food, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
