ALVARADO Ltd which is a collaboration of PHC and IMH, has undertaken the organization and management of events at the Nicosia Conference Centre during the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2026.
We are seeking experienced and professional Waiters/Waitresses to join the Food & Beverage team.

This is a prestigious opportunity to represent Cyprus in an international setting, providing discreet, efficient, and high-quality service to EU delegates, officials, and guests throughout the Presidency events.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous, professional, and timely service during all conference and hospitality functions.
• Support the setup, service, and clearance of coffee breaks, lunches, receptions, and official events according to established standards.
• Ensure all service areas and stations are impeccably organized, clean, and fully equipped.
• Anticipate and respond to delegates’ needs with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Maintain excellent grooming, presentation, and conduct standards.
• Follow hygiene, Health & Safety, and food handling regulations (HACCP compliance).
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth event.

Requirements:

• High School Leaving Certificate.
• Previous experience in hospitality setup, or similar work will be considered an advantage
• Previous experience in hospitality or high-end event service (conference, hotel, or banqueting experience preferred).
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and customer-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and within strict timelines.
• Presentable, polite, and team-spirited personality with a strong sense of responsibility.
