CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, well-established company operating in the dairy products sector in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Warehouse Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Warehouse Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the company's warehouse and storage areas. The successful candidate will work closely with the Production, Purchasing, Quality Control, Sales, and Distribution Departments, contributing to the smooth flow of materials and products throughout the business. Our client is seeking applicants who hold up to 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, procurement, logistics, supply chain, or a related field, who are fluent in both Greek and English. This is a hands-on operational role suited to an organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can effectively coordinate multiple activities and priorities.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Receive, check, and record raw materials, packaging materials, goods, and other products in accordance with company procedures.
• Organise, sort, store and label materials and products to ensure proper stock management and easy identification.
• Prepare, pick, pack and deliver orders or materials to the Production Department, or prepare goods for shipment in accordance with instructions.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records and record all incoming and outgoing stock movements in the inventory management system and/or relevant documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and participate in regular stock counts and inventory checks.
• Immediately report any stock discrepancies, shortages, damaged goods, or other warehouse-related issues to the relevant supervisor.
• Ensure proper stock rotation in accordance with FIFO (First In, First Out) and other applicable company procedures.
• Load and unload goods and materials when required.
• Move, arrange, and store materials and products safely and efficiently.
• Prepare materials and products for production, delivery, or dispatch.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment where required, subject to holding the appropriate licence and having received the necessary training.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and good organisation throughout the warehouse and storage areas.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse and relevant working areas.
• Assist the Production, Purchasing, Quality Control, Sales and Distribution Departments as required.
• Follow all company policies, procedures and regulations relating to health and safety, quality, environmental protection, and stock security.
• Report any incident, damage, defect, safety concern, or non-compliance that may affect warehouse operations, product quality, or employee safety.
• Participate in relevant training programmes, stock counts and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the company by carrying out reasonable general duties when required.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties related to the position and necessary for the proper operation of the company.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment will be considered an advantage.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and warehouse documentation.
• Ability to follow established procedures relating to stock handling, storage, rotation, and safety.
• Good physical ability and willingness to undertake a hands-on warehouse role.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious approach to work.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organised, and efficient working environment.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to work with inventory management systems will be considered an advantage.
• Previous experience operating a forklift will be considered an advantage, provided the appropriate licence and training are held.
• Knowledge of FIFO stock rotation procedures will be considered an advantage.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
