Accordingly, this is a great opportunity for either an experienced Accountant looking to expand their career in a dynamic role, or a recent graduate keen to kick-start their Accounting career in a team with a growth mentality.Main responsibilities include:• Assume responsibility for accounting for a group of local and international companies with mostly holding and&nbsp;investment activities• Support audit process, preparing relevant documentation, liaising with external auditors as part of the preparation&nbsp;and completion of annual statutory audit• Monitor and analyze tax developments and informing management about important updates&nbsp;• Liaise with local authorities if needed&nbsp;• Produce periodical management accounts&nbsp;• Support management with the preparation of various financial reports• Coordinate with other team members regarding accounting and audit matters• Perform other job-related duties as assigned&nbsp;Profile of the Ideal Candidate• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field• Qualified or Part-Qualified member of a professional accounting body (ACA/ACCA) – will be considered an&nbsp;advantage• Experienced Accountants to have at least 3 years of experience in an Accountant position with similar responsibilities• Profound knowledge of accounting principles and practices• Good knowledge of the Cyprus tax legislation and previous experience with Tax and VAT matters – will be&nbsp;considered an advantage• Knowledgeable of IFRS and their practical application – will be considered an advantage• Able to work independently as well as operate well within a team• Self-motivated with very good interpersonal and communication skills&nbsp;• Forward-thinking, with strong professional discipline and analytical skills&nbsp;• Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment&nbsp;• Positive and proactive attitude with an ability to work well under pressure of deadlines.&nbsp;• Analytical and problem-solving skills.&nbsp;• Willingness to learn.• Tech savvy – Excellent knowledge and use of MS Office suite and Accounting systems• Very good knowledge of both Greek and English (oral &amp; written).&nbsp;BenefitsAn attractive remuneration package will be discussed and offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and experience(will differ between graduates and experienced professionals).
